Dr Johanna Wood

Dr Johanna Wood is President of New Zealand Football and a generous supporter of grassroots initiatives in Aotearoa. An experienced educator hailing from Central Football, Johanna is passionate about the power of football to help women and rangatahi achieve their goals on and off the pitch. Dr Wood’s generosity supported the purchase of first footballs for young people signing up to play the game for the very first time.

Sir Eion Edgar

The late Sir Eion Edgar was a renowned New Zealand businessman and chairman of the Forsyth Barr Group. He was also a generous supporter of the Football Foundation, who believed in our mission and our work. Sir Eion played a critical role in ensuring the New Zealand Football Foundation was able to fund grassroots social initiatives, pledging an incredible $500,000. Mark Stewart MNZM is a former Chairperson of the New Zealand Football Foundation who has continued to support us, generously pledging $500,000.
