Helena is NZFF’s wonderfully talented football communications officer. Helena started writing about football in 2015, when her club teammates decided it was time their match results got more coverage. Helena took to writing match reports, and later, articles for several football publications. In 2019 she interned at New Zealand Football, working with the Future Ferns Development Programme, and appeared on American podcast The Women's Football Show as a New Zealand Correspondent. She grew up playing for Forrest Hill Milford and still plays futsal for Northern Region Football Federation. Alongside being a star at NZFF Helena is in her fifth year of a law and history honours degree at the University of Auckland
