Interning with the New Zealand Football Foundation is a unique and rewarding opportunity for people who are passionate about sport, community development, and making a real impact. As an intern, you’ll play a role in meaningful initiatives that use football to break down barriers, promote inclusion, and support underrepresented communities across Aotearoa New Zealand.
You'll work alongside our small, passionate team on projects across grants, events, communications, database management and donor support - tailored where possible to your interests and skills.

Our office is located in Westgate, West Auckland, surrounded by the shopping centre, Massey gym and outlet stores. We share our office space with Sport Waitākere, West Auckland's Regional Sports Trust, which has been supporting the people of West Auckland to lead healthy, connected and active lives for over 30 years - making it a great environment for anyone passionate about sport and community.
We will work with you to create a placement that balances your course requirements and paid work commitments as your well-being is our priority. Some evening, weekend, and travel-related work may be required occasionally.
