The New Zealand Football Foundation is excited to announce an opening for an Impact Giving Manager. This pivotal role is designed for a dynamic and results-oriented professional to lead fundraising efforts, enhance donor engagement, and support the Foundation's mission to create opportunities and remove barriers to community football across New Zealand.
Position Overview:
- Title: Impact Giving Manager
- Location: Albany, Auckland
- Employment Type: 12-month fixed-term. 32 hours/week (flexible).
- Application Deadline: May 4, 2025
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with the CEO to craft and implement a comprehensive donor strategy.
- Philanthropy: Engage with stakeholders to understand funding needs and build relationships with donors to secure one-off and regular donations.
- Digital Fundraising: Manage and optimize digital fundraising platforms, including designing and executing online campaigns.
- Other Initiatives: Support various fundraising activities such as grants, commercial partnerships, and events to meet 2025 revenue targets.
- Reporting: Contribute to communications and reports detailing fundraising efforts and outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven success in fundraising and donor stewardship.
- Strong understanding of individual giving techniques.
- Extensive networks and experience managing donor relationships.
- Strategic thinker with excellent planning and execution skills.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the nonprofit or charity sector.
- Knowledge of digital fundraising, campaigns, and social media strategies.
- Ability to network and build relationships with donors and corporate partners.
- Experience using fundraising management software (e.g., Raisely).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for the organization's mission and the impact of sport.
- Knowledge of football is a bonus but not essential.
Working Conditions:
- 32 hours per week (negotiable).
- Flexible/hybrid working models considered.
- Some evening and weekend work may be required for events and donor engagement.
- Occasional travel for events, donor meetings, and outreach activities.
- No direct reports.
