NZ Football Foundation extends grant application round.

August 23, 2021

The New Zealand Football Foundation is excited by the prospect of supporting innovative projects in the local football community through the provision of funding grants. The grant application round opened on August 1st.

In light of the disruption caused by the recent Covid-19 outbreak and Level 4 lockdowns, the Foundation is extending its application round by one week. Applications will now close on September 10th, 2021.

As our community continues to endure and adapt to the challenges of Covid-19, the Foundation grants will provide invaluable support for projects. The Foundation is a charitable foundation set up to advance education through football, assist with resources, alleviate inequality in the game, as well as increase access and connections to Footballing communities in New Zealand.

In the call for grant applications, the Foundation is looking forward to continuing their focus on funding key areas including youth football, women and girls’ football, social development and innovation. The Foundation is committed to supporting the great initiatives in football, and our football community, and look forward to receiving applications.
