Om joined the New Zealand Football Foundation in 2026 as an intern working on the organisation’s Football Archive Project.
He is currently studying a Bachelor of Sport and Recreation at Auckland University of Technology and has a strong interest in the wider sporting industry. Om is particularly passionate about football, Formula One, and strength training.
Through his role, Om will help lead the Foundation’s Football Archive Project by assisting with the digitisation and organisation of Barry’s historic football collection. This includes scanning archival materials, creating metadata tags and managing a dedicated social media channel that shares stories and moments from New Zealand football history.
Alongside the Archive Project, Om will also have opportunities to support other initiatives across the organisation, helping develop transferable skills in digital communications, content creation and sports administration.
Every team needs supporters. At the New Zealand Football Foundation we are so grateful for our partners who believe in Football For Good just as much as we do. They know the power of sport to make real change in society and they are committed to helping us do the māhi to support our communities. The generosity of our partners is crucial to enable us to support so many worthy projects.
